Bus Users Scotland recently attended an annual nationwide event organised by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations with a view to extending its work with non-profit groups.

Greig Mackay, Deputy Director, Bus Users Scotland, joined groups from across the country and over 3,000 visitors for a series of workshops and keynote speeches focusing on the vital role of the third sector in Scotland and the need to support its work across the public and private sectors.

The event, held at the SECC, Glasgow kicked off with a keynote speech from First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon MSP and featured an exhibition of over 100 groups including Age Scotland, Citizens Advice Scotland, Deaf Sector Partnership, Enable Scotland, Third Sector Unit – Scottish Government and Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire.
