New report from the Transport Select Committee on Mobility as a Service

Claire Walters, Chief Executive of Bus Users UK, has welcomed The Transport Select Committee’s new report on the pros and cons of the Mobility as a Service concept.

Claire said: "People need to be at the heart of strategies on technology in transport provision, ensuring accessibility and suitability for all.

"We also welcome the insistence that, regardless of size, no operator should be excluded because of the costs involved, as this could make marginal services even less likely to continue.

"A strategy that looks at all kinds of journey requirements, from start to finish, will benefit us all and make public transport the most convenient option for anyone wishing to travel."
