At Bus Users UK, our mission is to bring people and communities together through socially inclusive transport

Our aim

As a registered charity, our aim is to ensure that all communities, wherever they are and whatever their needs may be, have access to the best possible transport links.

  • We work to make public transport fully inclusive and accessible, and able to meet the transport needs of all communities.
  • We promote high standards of urban and rural transport planning and service delivery.
  • We raise awareness of the social exclusion caused by a lack of adequate transport and the economic and social factors affecting its provision.
  • And we act on behalf of passengers to resolve their complaints and address any underlying problems.

Bus Users UK Charitable Trust Ltd is a registered charity in England (No 1178677) and in Scotland (No SC049144).

We are also an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Body for bus and coach passengers, and the nominated body for dealing with complaints under the European Passenger Rights Regulation.
