Bus Users Shropshire to hold public meeting in Market Drayton

Bus Users Shropshire was set up by concerned residents to champion the needs of bus users across the county.

Following successful public meetings in five Shropshire towns Bus Users Shropshire is to host a public meeting in Market Drayton to give people an opportunity to give their views of bus services in the area.

The meeting will be in the Festival Drayton Centre on Saturday 7 November starting at 10.45am and finishing at 11.45am.

Peter Gilbert, chair of Bus Users Shropshire, said, 'Public meetings have been crucial to obtaining an accurate view of what people actually think of their bus services, good and not so good, and give us a chance to represent their views to bus operators and to Shropshire Council. Bus services have never been under so much pressure so it's very important for bus users to speak up.'
