The all new Sapphire

Director of Bus Users Cymru, Margaret Everson, joined Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Infrastructure Ken Skates AM, and Michael Morton, MD Arriva Buses Wales for the launch of the new Arriva Sapphire 1.

The 13 new advanced double decker buses are the result of £3.2m investment to upgrade services between Wrexham and Chester. Alongside spacious seating, USB charging points and free wifi, passengers will benefit from electronic display screens and audio announcements specifically designed for people with visual impairments and anyone not familiar with the route.

Arriva are so confident in their new service that anyone who isn’t happy with the punctuality, frequency and cleanliness of their journey will be eligible for a full refund.
