Return of the number 3 service

Return of the number 3 service

Essex County Council has decided that there will be a replacement for its number 3 service. The announcement follows a detailed investigation along with evidence from residents at the recent Your Bus Matters event in Colchester organised by Bus Users.

The service, originally run by Hedingham Omnibuses, connected Longridge and Parsons Heath to Colchester town centre, the Hythe and Greenstead. From today, Stephensons of Essex will run a replacement service until September 2015 at which point the council will carry out a full review to assess take up.
