Latest Bus Passenger Survey published

The results are out from Transport Focus in its most comprehensive Bus Passenger Survey ever undertaken.

48,000 people took part  across England, Scotland and Wales, with 88% of passengers overall satisfied with their journeys. 

A further 65% were satisfied their trip represented value for money, 73% were satisfied with the punctuality and 84% were satisfied with the journey time once they were on the bus.

When it comes to punctuality and timeliness, however, satisfactions levels continue to decline with punctuality most frequently cited as the area passengers most want to see improved.

Satisfaction levels with the bus driver are up slightly and the helpfulness, attitude and driving standards of bus drivers continue to have a significant impact on how passengers view their journey.
