One of the key ways Bus Users UK gives passengers a voice is through the
Your Bus Matters programme. 


Your Bus Matters events give bus company managers and local authority officers the opportunity to find out exactly what bus users think. We usually borrow a bus from one of the bus companies and park it in a shopping centre – anyone can come along, it’s not a formal meeting. 

It’s your opportunity to raise any issues with bus company management or your local authority, or to find out more information; the bus companies usually bring along timetables and leaflets. If you want to rant then go ahead, but please be polite and respectful. 

You might even want to tell them what’s good about their service or make suggestions. There are no forms to fill in and no pre-arranged agenda to work to – at these events the passengers call the shots! 

We usually run around 50 Your Bus Matters events around England, Wales and Scotland each year. Keep an eye on our events page, Facebook or Twitter, or look out for publicity in your area. Then come along and have your say!
